We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist /Business Partner to help build and scale the People Operations and Human Resources function.  This position reports to the Vice President of People Operations and will be an instrumental member of the People Operations team.  People Operations at Inflammatix includes Human Resources, Talent Management, and Talent Acquisition.  In addition to supporting the day-to-day human resources functions, the HR Generalist/Business Partner will be an instrumental in executing key HR initiatives that support the business objectives and organization growth plans. The HRBP is responsible for developing and improving processes related to employee management and engagement and will drive HR functional excellence within assigned business units. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist leaders/managers with performance management initiatives, retention strategies and employee development
  • Facilitate the coaching of managers through performance management situations and provide guidance on best practices, including the evaluation, training, maintenance, and implementation of performance management tools as needed
  • Manage special projects in workforce management, strategic planning, quarterly/monthly people data reports and other ad-hoc works in progress
  • Provide HR support to employees and managers with specific focus on process training, employee relations, performance management, compensation planning, employee engagement, career development, change initiatives
  • Partner with leaders to create and support an inclusive culture focused on open communication, accountability, diversity and creating talent development opportunities
  • Partner with management to assess capabilities across the teams and plan workforce needs accordingly
  • Ensure that appropriate training opportunities are identified and provided to employees to grow personal, career and organizational development capabilities
  • Ability to provide effective guidance and coaching in a variety of situations (developmental, disciplinary, etc.)
  • Partner with senior leaders and functional training leads to specify learning needs, enabling comprehensive learning strategies
  • Run end-to-end program management of learning & development initiatives (in person, out of the classroom, or online) and processes based on learning strategies
  • Create and maintain training materials, facilitator guides and all documents related to Learning & Development
  • Design curriculum to support intact team workshops and off-sites to enhance team effectiveness and improve productivity

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of Human Resource experience
  • Strong background in employee engagement and people development
  • Project Management experience (e.g., implementing change management projects, new services or employee benefits concepts with agile methodologies and problem-solving techniques)
  • Computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and HRIS systems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS in Human Resources, business or related field
  • 3+ years developing and leading training efforts with direct experience creating learning programs and facilitating training sessions with the ability to adapt to different audiences
  • HRCI or SHRM certifications
  • Knowledge in immigration policy and procedure, and compliance and regulatory a plus

  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS systems
