Associate Director/Director, Pharmacology

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and initiate pharmacology programs in supporting early drug discovery, lead identification, and later stage drug development.
  • Evaluate drug performance using various in vitro and in vivo animal models including liver disease models; develop new disease models as needed.
  • Collaborate with other functional groups to optimize drug design and lead selection for further development.
  • Collaborate with academic and CROs to support drug discovery and development.  
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • PhD with over 5 years’ industrial experience in supporting drug discovery and development; more experience in liver disease drug development is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in various in vitro and in vivo animal models including liver disease models.
  • Experience in PK/PD/Toxic studies in small animals.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
