The Associate Director, Consumer Marketing is part of the US Marketing team with responsibilities for developing key components, related to consumer marketing.  The focus of this position is the development and ongoing creative for the patient and consumer journey to build consumer segmentation, launch positioning, activation strategies and tactics.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Plays critical role in identifying risks, making recommendations, developing solutions, and executing on strategy for an innovative, multi-layered direct to consumer marketing campaign inclusive of TV, digital platforms, social and public relations.
  • Leads the implementation and maximization of a forward-thinking Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform to assist in awareness, identification, education, and support of patients and consumers.  Works closely with agency to guide successful long-term development of the CRM platform.  
  • Creates and executes innovative solutions to help patients successfully control their condition
    • Providing support through a successful trial period
    • Working closely with our patient support function to develop, implement, and execute a platform ensuring patients can navigate access and affordability challenges
    • Building a partnership between the patient, their health-care provider, and Idorsia, creating value for all three parties
  • Will be responsible for taking on new and unexpected projects, and for researching approaches and options, and resourcing as appropriate with either internal and/or external partners.     
  • Develops and drives successful relationships with external vendors and agencies to communicate strategy and vision, develop content and execute national campaigns based on sound marketing principles, research insights and data analytics.
  • Works cross functionally to identify synergies in market strategies and effectively execute key commercial activities.
  • Manages the consumer budget for the brand and contributes to annual business and strategic plans. 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Marketing field required
  • 8 years’ experience in commercial roles with some or all this time executing consumer marketing campaigns in the pharmaceutical industry including pre-launch, launch and digital strategies.
  • Commercial experience for CNS products preferred but not required
  • Prior record of executing novel, innovative approaches to marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Demonstrated ability to understand how to deploy, monitor, and track large national advertising campaigns, analyze, and understand key campaign metrics and ROI, and effectively optimize media mix across digital and analog channels
  • Prior experience with managing large budgets
