Job Details
As a Director, Real-World Data and Analytics Researcher you will take a leading role in supporting our real-world data & analytics needs. You will generate real-world evidence to inform, support, and strengthen global development and commercialization activities. Additionally you will translate and implement internal real-world evidence generation requests using your expertise in epidemiology/biostatistics, real-world data, and advanced modeling techniques using internal and/or external resources.
A typical day may include:
Collaborating with our HEOR therapeutic area/product lead and HEOR Epidemiologist contributing to: real-world study protocol and/or analysis plans for internal real-world evidence requests; leading in-house real-world data analytics; overseeing real-world data analyses conducted by external analytics-on-demand partners and communicating analytics results.
Evaluating and in-licensing real-world data assets or analytics tools; developing internal self-service RWE tools to inform decision making, and find innovation opportunities for the use of RWD.
Leading the exploration, development, and deployment of advanced analytics (e.g. machine learning, NLP, etc) to gain insights and fulfill business needs.

To be considered for this, you should have a Doctoral (PhD, PharmD, MD, or a Master’s degree in health services research, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or a subject area with a strong focus in the application of data science to healthcare data. Your experience should include 4+ years with a Doctorate or 6+ years with a Master's in Outcomes Research/Epidemiological Research/Health Economics is required. Rich experience using real-world data (both US and ex-US) commonly used in epidemiology/HEOR studies. Familiarity with oncology RWD is a plus. Proficiency in statistical, computational and machine-learning methodologies for prospective and retrospective RW studies. Advanced programming capacity in two of the following software packages: Python/SAS/R. Knowledge of visualization software (Tableau, R, Python). Able to effectively communicate model assumptions, statistical methods, and findings to technical and non-technical partners
