ROLE SUMMARY

The US Prostate Cancer Business is one of the largest and fastest growing businesses within Pfizer. It is anchored by a multibillion-dollar asset in XTANDI, a newly launched product in ORGOVYX, and we are preparing to launch Talzenna(talazoparib) in Prostate Cancer.

TALZENNA in prostate has the potential to deliver over $2B in peak revenues globally and contribute meaningfully to Pfizer’s ambition of ’25 Breakthroughs by 2025’. We are preparing for the US launch of the first indication in 1L metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) (TALAPRO-2) with a second indication in DDR-deficient metastatic castration-sensitive prostate cancer (mCSPC) (TALAPRO-3).

The TALZENNA Prostate Organized Customer and HCP Marketing Director is a critical role on the TALZENNA prostate launch team. The role offers an exciting opportunity to join Pfizer’s Prostate Cancer Marketing Team and gain valuable marketing and oncology product launch experience.  This role will work closely with the US Prostate Franchise Key Account Strategy Lead to drive strategic vision and deliver tactics to effectively engage with organized providers and advanced customers - i.e., key accounts, including Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and Group Practices. This position will play a critical role in assessing and analyzing account-specific business trends and developing innovative approaches and solutions to ensure success of TALZENNA in a highly competitive environment. The role will further own the execution of synergistic HCP promotional activities as appropriate.

The ideal candidate needs to have strong HCP marketing experience. The role requires strong ability to identify and translate customer insights and opportunities into actual strategies and tactics. The ideal candidate must be able to effectively build and execute strategies and initiatives that maximize value for the brand and for customers. The role requires close collaboration with multiple cross-functional partners and a proven track-record of success in a team-based environment. The ideal candidate needs to possess strong communication skills and be able to demonstrate critical thinking as well as sound decision-making skills.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with US Prostate Franchise KAM Lead, the KAM organization, Market Research and Portfolio Acceleration Team to identify organized customer needs and priority focus areas
  • Develop TALZENNA prostate organized customer strategies and tactical plans, lead pull-through of tactical plan
  • Drive innovative approaches to help accounts improve quality of care and treatment according to guidelines.
  • Lead development of HCP promotional tactics that align with key account strategies
  • Support the development of key TALZENNA prostate HCP marketing resources in alignment with brand strategy and objectives
  • Lead account and HCP-level analytics and insights generation, understand performance trends based on different data sources and identify business opportunities
  • Develop tools and metrics to support account and HCP-level planning and prioritization
  • Develop presentations for management and internal stakeholders on brand priorities, opportunities, and threats. Key contributor to Tactical Plans and Operating Plans.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing
  • Previous US HCP marketing experience
  • Strong ability to understand customer needs, extracting key insights, and translating these into meaningful value propositions and tactics
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and influencing business outcomes across diverse functional boundaries, without direct reporting relationships
  • Willingness to challenge the status-quo, able to navigate organization/ processes to achieve endorsement of innovative approaches
  • High-energy, proactive self-starter who has the initiative to function autonomously and the confidence and ingenuity to initiate, create and innovate
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide range of audiences, including senior management
  • Strong analytical skills; detail and action oriented; creative.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Oncology experience with understanding of how Oncology account customers are organized
  • Strong familiarity with US marketing landscape including HCP's, medical groups/integrated delivery networks, payers
  • Previous product launch experience
