Senior Customer Service Representative – Avinger, Inc. (www.avinger.com)
Position Summary:
The Senior Customer Service Representative is responsible for the day-to-day functions of the Customer Service department. Some functions include trunk stock audits, inventory reports and other sales reports. This position will also work with the Customer Service Manager to ensure accurate reporting and maintenance of the Customer Database.
Core Job Responsibilities:
- Processing orders, processing RMAs, trunk stock shipments, trunk stock audits
- Maintain daily Sales logs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer files
- Maintain up-to-date pricing logs that reflect the current selling price of each Avinger product for each customer
- Ensure customer satisfaction is obtained through effective communication, problem solving, professional phone etiquette, and efficient processes
- Complete all necessary steps of order processing daily in a complete and accurate manner
- Compile all end of day sales orders and conduct customer invoicing
- Monitor incoming calls as directed by Customer Service Manager
- Ensure all necessary paperwork and data entry is completed accurately to facilitate efficient delivery of orders placed and accounts receivable
- Ability to understand customer contracts and/or agreements to ensure all terms and conditions are being met and maintained
- Comply with and adhere to all regulatory compliance areas, policies, and procedures
- Participate and support ERP system implementations and other related projects as required
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 4-year degree preferred
- 3-5+ years of experience in a medical device customer service role preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent teamwork skills; ability to make quick changes per the needs of the team at large
- Self starter, with the ability to multi-task, and maintain a high level of adaptability/flexibility
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Previous experience/strong knowledge of SAP B1 preferred
