Principal Investigator

Seeking a Senior Scientist or Principal Investigator to join a new team devoted to PK/TK and immunogenicity analyses. You will communicate with sponsors to complete tech transfer and then lead your team in method development, validation, sample analysis, and associated documentation for a variety of assays. Over time, your role will pivot from standing up and training your Associates to leading multiple, simultaneous projects.

Our international CRO and Diagnostic Testing partner supports customers from discovery through NDA. They are expanding further into the San Francisco Bay Area with a new, custom-built site for DMPK and Bioanalytical services. They are looking for leaders excited to take on the dynamic task of growing the site to 250 people.

This role requires proof of vaccination for covid-19.

Title: Principal Investigator

Location: Hayward, CA

Specific day to day responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage a group of Associates in method development, validation, and sample analysis
2. Ensure compliance with, and documentation of, GLP standards
3. Prepare and present technical proposals to potential new clients

Top 3 Requirements:

1. Experience or desire to work in a GLP CRO lab
2. Hands-on experience with biochemical analyses using either mass spectrometry or fluorescence
3. PhD in Biology or Chemistry with 1-2 years of experience OR a Master’s degree with 3-5 years of experience OR a Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of experience
