What you will do

Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you will work closely with marketing and cross-functional team members on budget management & project oriented work efforts. Key responsibilities:

  • Lead Oncology TA budget process including maintenance & reporting, annual budget planning and financial forecast, phasing, coding, quarterly accruals, and database management (PRE3 & Anaplan)
  • Develop presentations and templates analyzing budget status and identifying key trends or gaps
  • Communicate budget mentorship & finance requirements to TA and streamline budget management process to improve operational agility
  • Ensure alignment of TA budget with Amgen Finance & Senior Leadership governance
  • Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and adhere to high quality standards
  • Facilitate leadership dashboards & project tools to track asset and project turning points
  • Responsible for Microsoft Teams & SharePoint maintenance and drive sharing of key department documents (e.g. budget trackers, onboarding guides, etc.) and operational best practices
  • Assemble project plans, directing and monitoring work efforts daily, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately

Basic Qualifications:

Masters degree

OR

Bachelors degree and 2 years of budget and project management experience

OR

Associates degree and 6 years of budget and project management experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of budget and project management experience
