Lets do this. Lets change the world. The Patient Access Sr Associate will support processes through the entire

Pharmacy Capability team with a primary focus on Nurse, Field Reimbursement Specialists and E-solutions teams and reports to the Sr Manager of the Nurse Program Capability.

This role is responsible for managing multiple operational processes within the Nurse Capability team, including the following: Budgeting & Invoice Management, Patient Support Program (PSP) support/documentation and Audit support, Material Approval and Compliance (MAC) Support and general Project Management support.

This position is intended as an entry role for those interested in a position in patient access but may not have commercial experience. The role is intended to give the candidate a broad set of experiences across multiple programs as they prepare for a management role within the department.

The individual will work with the cross-functional Amgen team and vendors to deliver outstanding customer and patient experiences.

  • Manage day to day operations for budget and invoice approval
  • Manage and support PSP operations and safety team liaison.
  • Label update material owner
  • Manage and provide PM support for the HCC/Safety Audit processes
  • Work with other business units as well as internal partners so ensure maintenance of Amgen legal, regulatory, and compliance standard
  • Develop presentation material and share insight to better inform strategy
  • Optimize process effectiveness by identifying and implementing improvement initiates

Masters degree

OR

Bachelors degree and 2 years of project management, budget coordinator, administrative coordinator experience

OR

Associates degree and 6 years of project management, budget coordinator, administrative coordinator experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of project management, budget coordinator, administrative coordinator experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Self-starter with a high-level of comfort with ambiguity and complexity
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally in the organization
  • Good discernment, high-level critical thinking and strong analytical skills
  • Strong writing, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Experience solving complex business problems and managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Experience owning sub-workstreams that contribute to broader goals; communicates progress and challenges in a timely manner
  • Previous experience providing and delivering information for decision making by the senior management team
  • Demonstrated strength in project management, detail oriented and get results with strategic mentality
  • Ability to build positive relationship and collaborate optimally in a matrix organization
  • Understanding of pharmacovigilance and regulatory requirements
