Job Description
The Manager/ Senior Manager, Pipeline & Portfolio Market Planning will be an integral part of commercial and portfolio planning at Corcept. This individual will be responsible for delivering market driven analysis and insights which shape portfolio strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Develop data-driven insights, opinions and recommendations to support leadership in navigating complex, ambiguous business decisions across a range of therapeutic areas.
Partner with the clinical and commercial teams to guide development strategy which will realize the full potential of pipeline assets.
Plan and execute market insight and strategy projects to answer key program questions for US and Ex-US markets by leveraging secondary data, KOL consultations, and market research (physician, payer, patient).
Build market landscape assessments including in-depth analysis of the disease, treatment dynamics, payer environment, and competitive landscape. Synthesize data from various sources, including medical literature into succinct, actionable findings.
Create patient-based forecast and valuation models for products in development as well as the overall portfolio
Contribute to building executive level presentations
- Experience in healthcare analytics, consulting, healthcare equity research or market research, or applicable relevant experience in biotech or pharma
Ability and experience in conducting a market assessment of a new opportunity, e.g. unmet need, total addressable market, epidemiology analysis, peak sales analysis, clinical trial requirements, competitive landscape, and other factors.
Strong analytics, quantitative modeling, and reporting expertise, with demonstrated ability to functionally build forecast and valuation models.
Ability to master new therapeutic areas across multiple perspectives
Good communication skills; ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and excellent attention to detail.
MBA or other related graduate-level degree is preferred
Some travel may be required.
- B.A / B.S required, advanced science degree preferred, MBA preferred
