OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an experienced and system savvy Manager, FP&A  with excellent data analysis skills to join our fast growing finance/accounting team to assist the VP, Finance with building out the FP&A function and provide analytical/decision support to our management team. 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual operating plan, quarterly forecast and long-range plan in ensuring alignment with corporate goals 
  • Perform financial analysis and management reporting to functional teams on strategic planning, budgeting and operations planning
  • Responsible for creating budget models and uploading budget data to Adaptive Insights software 
  • Maintain accurate budget models, data and dashboard reporting in Adaptive Insights software
  • Assist in accounting month-end close processes including preparing accruals and tracking activities related to various projects and cost centers 
  • Implement FP&A software and data automation projects 
  • Perform analysis of standard product costs, labor and overhead allocations and profit margins
  • Provide financial support for growth initiatives including product development, research partnerships/collaborations, commercialization and capital expenditure projects  
  • Participate in FP&A initiatives including identifying opportunities for process improvements 
  • Assist with ad hoc project as needed 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting and Business Administration 
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in budgeting and financial analysis 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and financial modeling skills
  • Advanced Excel skills, Google Suite and MS office Suite 
  • Proficient in Adaptive Insights including model creation and management, administration, and dashboard reporting 
  • Experience with NetSuite and financial system implementation 
  • Knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles
  • Ability to work onsite as needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • MBA or CPA
  • Strong start-up mentality 
  • Experience in life science and pharmaceutical development sectors 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines 
  • High attention to detail and capability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently
