OPPORTUNITY
The Material Coordinator will support our expanding general laboratory needs as our researchers develop CRISPR-based technologies and products.  The Material Coordinator will support the Lab Manager with stocking, ordering, and equipment maintenance.  The person in this role must have a service-based mentality and a proclivity towards action and flexibility as these daily activities are varied. 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Stock all labs with consumables and reorder supplies
  • Stock and reorder PPE
  • Organize and maintain inventory items
  • Meet various vendors for weekly deliveries
  • Cold storage maintenance, including clean-outs and defrosts
  • Support lab growth, reorganization, and relocations
  • Miscellaneous lab activities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Ability to lift loads of up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience working in a lab environment
