The Senior Manager of Respiratory/GI Market Development primary areas of responsibility will be to develop and implement comprehensive Market Development and HCP Engagement plans across the entire Respiratory/ GI portfolio, along with preparing for future indication launches that will continue to build and drive demand in highly competitive markets.  Specifically, this will include developing customized peer-to-peer resources, such as the development and implementation of tactics surrounding a disease state education campaign and branded promotional materials aligned to the broader franchise strategy and creative.

Job Duties:

  • Development and execution of marketing initiatives to support for the portfolio for treatment of Asthma, CRSwNP and other respiratory and GI indications currently under development
  • Lead market development and tactical execution activities, including congresses, speaker bureaus, advisory boards, and KOL mapping and engagement
  • Address key insights and proactively identify customer needs to establish the portfolio as biologic of choice in Asthma and CRSwNP
  • Ensure that the Respiratory and GI brand strategy is aligned to support the overall franchise strategy
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the respiratory and GI biologic area and market trends
  • Pull-through and execution of a 1 to 3-year tactical plan
  • Creation of marketing material for peer-to-peer, personal and non-personal promotion
  • Understand customer segmentation and execute on brand strategies
  • Foster strong partnership with medical affairs, Clinical, HEOR, Market Access, Market Research, Regulatory, legal, and other functions in developing HCP in market resources to ensure aligned objectives and implementation across all functions
  • Work cross-functionally and within the copromotional Alliance framework to create, manage and track the joint budgets to ensure that the alliance is operating within aligned budget goals and appropriate full-year phasing
  • Work with finance and Director to monitor spending against budget/forecast report budget results as requested; manage all projects and responsibilities to agreed-upon project timelines, budgets, and scope

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • The position requires a highly motivated individual with strong strategic and scientific acumen, as well as an ability to be laser-focused on execution
  • Must be able to operate in a high-paced launch environment and manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Exhibit organizational agility and the capability to identify the need to reprioritize to external or internal environmental changes
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with team members to develop and execute educational programs and support materials
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently with team members, and across departments, to ensure consistency and collaboration in strategy development and implementation of programs
    - Demonstrated competency in Agency management and budget management
  •  Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently with research and development team members in transition of professional relationships to commercial point person in pre-launch and launch situations
  • Experience managing congress and conference related marketing activities
  • Ability to grasp complex scientific concepts and clinical data as well as simplify their meaning
  • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating emotional intelligence, both internally & externally
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage given budgets according to the brand plan
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with cross-functional areas of the organization
  • Must be willing to travel 25-30% (including weekend travel as needed)

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree; MBA a plus
  • 10+ years of "progressive" industry/ relevant professional experience; 3+ years of pharmaceutical/ biotech marketing, product management, or related industry/ relevant professional experience
  • Respiratory/ Immunology experience preferred
