The Junior Treasury Analyst is a member of the Treasury Operations team, which has responsibility for cash management and banking operations in the North American CoE Region, with global responsibilities for HQ activities. This position has primary responsibilities of electronic banking administration, banking documentation, daily cash management, and wire payment processing.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Daily cash positioning
  • Execution of short-term investments
  • Daily cash reporting
  • E-banking administration for global bank portals
  • E-banking annual user recertification for global banks
  • System administration for electronic bank account management system
  • Annual recertification of global bank account signers
  • Process know-your-customer data requests from banking counterparties
  • Initiate, track, and confirm wire payments in SAP and banking portals
  • Coordinate payments, receipts, and transfers with various AbbVie internal groups
  • Update records, documents, bank account signors and e-banking users
  • Prepare banking documents for global banking administration
  • Coordinate with banks to manage transactions and services
  • Assist in preparing audit documentation for SOX, Internal Audit, External Audit, and Tax
  • Review bank fee statements and prepare fee analysis
  • Distribute monthly banking/investing/borrowing reports to various internal groups
  • Process Treasury Vendor payments through SAP SRM 

 


Qualifications

 

  • BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • Up to two years working in a corporate finance organization
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SAP, and Bank portals highly preferred
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills

 

 

Job Grades are determined by the country in which the payroll is based.
