The Therapeutic Molecule Patent Group within the Regeneron Law Department is focused on protecting IP rights in Regeneron’s therapeutic assets and their use in treating serious diseases and medical conditions. Regeneron is a standout in the biopharmaceutical industry in terms of our rapid production, screening, testing, and clinical development of state-of-the-art antibodies and other therapeutic proteins. In addition to large molecule therapeutics, Regeneron has established itself as an innovative player in small molecule drug development and ADCs. Regeneron’s innovations in these areas provide a substantial competitive advantage that must be preserved by obtaining appropriate protection, including patent and trade secret protection. Such protection plays a vital role in protecting against competitors who are developing drugs against the same or similar molecular targets and who compete with Regeneron in key therapeutic areas.
