What You Will Achieve
As a US Supply Chain Manager at Pfizer you will be responsible for the Demand Forecast and Availability of sterile injectable pharmaceuticals for the US market. Supply Chain Managers own end to end planning of specific products within their market, collaborating with Marketing, Manufacturing plants, Local Regulatory, and upstream global/procurement supply leads.
Core activities include owning the market volume requirements, and matching availability within the market by managing inventory positions, inbound supply capabilities, and integrated business planning projection for defined product groupings for the US region.
This position will include regular interaction with all levels of manufacturing, regulatory, marketing, and supply chain to ensure product strategy, contract changes, market dynamics, and product supply are accurately reflected in the demand forecast and supply plan. This role will also require project leadership skills and team members will be asked to lead at least one process improvement project each year. Working with a dynamic team of Logistics and Supply Chain experts, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing mid-to long-term supply chain strategies and networks through a range of activities. Some of the activities that you will manage include addressing capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business growth and execution of new programs.

How You Will Achieve It
Manage multiple projects and ongoing work activities of within the department typically involving cross-functional representatives.
Work with different stakeholders (markets, plants, supply planners, enabling team, network supply) to continually drive improvements in supply chain processes, establish/meet performance objectives and operational changes.
Track adherence and deviations on statistical forecasting process and develop action plans with demand teams to close gaps.
Monitor and track supply outlook including supply issues resolution.
Accountable for sales operations for distributor inventory management and replenishment in accordance with agreed contractual conditions, in close collaboration with Above Market Planning AMP team, commercial and Customer Service team.
Interface between plant operations and the third party customers to assist with production of new products or extensions of existing product lines.
Actively participate in these meetings, and other related brand/operations meetings as required.
Manage the supply projection, inventory holdings, and inbound supply of sterile injectable pharmaceuticals.
Responsible for developing and maintaining of customer metrics and provides input for financial sales, latest estimate and results.
Integrate new products and product transfers into the plan and generate a robust and verified projection of demand and constrained, rough-cut capacity utilization for assigned brands and production resources.
Connect with the team leads and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) SMEs to provide forward looking analytics to be reviewed.
Manage the team to coordinate and direct weekly and periodical scheduling meetings, resolve issues and follow actions arising from meetings, such as re-prioritization and expediting of supply of critical products.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Logistics, or Marketing
5+ years’ experience
Demonstrated application of planning skills in the area of Supply Chain, inventory & material management, site operations
Ability to work with a lot of variables and data, and synthesize to drive management decision making
Strong people management experience
Forecasting or Analytics experience at large scale
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Fluent in English, written and verbal
Nice-to-Have
Master's degree
APICS CPIM and or CSCP
SAP or ERP systems experience
Relevant pharmaceutical experience or experience in regulated environment
Strong System Application & Products and systems skills
