Position

This role is central to our vision of building an organization that is vibrant, high-performing, and innovative.  Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will have a significant impact on programs and systems that are integral to our strategy and ongoing success.  As we continue to build the Human Resource leadership team, the selected individual, drawing from their extensive experience, perspective, and passion, will have the opportunity to help shape a future focused HR function that supports an organization that is committed to excellence, innovation, and a thoughtful approach to scaling.

About You

You are a talent leader able to add new perspectives, insights, and marketplace expertise as a thought partner to Eikon’s leadership team as we scale to further enable groundbreaking innovations in the drug discovery process.

You are a talent brand artist.  You’ll create Eikon’s talent attraction strategy to showcase our vision to leading scientists, technologists and beyond, and help them sign-on to solve medicines most challenging puzzles. 

What You’ll Do

  • Set and evolve the vision, structure, and execution plan for the Talent Acquisition function
  • Implement sourcing and recruitment strategies that support talent attraction, further our Diversity & Inclusion efforts, and help ensure the organization meets our ambitious hiring objectives
  • Determine the operating model for Talent Acquisition, including in-sourcing versus outsourcing; selecting and managing external consultants, vendors, etc.; develop and manage the department budget, analyze, and report on key hiring metrics
  • Partner with business executives and HR Business partners to stay current and anticipate hiring trends
  • Bring innovation, market intelligence, and perspective to conversations and solutions with a strong focus on the business impact
  • Lead the Talent Acquisition team you help envision, design, and build

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, a graduate or post graduate degree, is desirable
  • 12+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition leadership experience overseeing a complex, scaling, TA function in a fast-growing biotech, high-tech or engineering company
  • A track record of successfully building, leading, and elevating a high-quality, diverse teams responsible for professional, executive, and university recruiting
  • Strong, recent experience and understanding of various service delivery models (RPOs, hybrid models, etc.) for Talent Acquisition and the landscape of providers and partners
  • A bias for collaboration, partnership, and strong working relationships
