The Executive Assistant position is an opportunity for a seasoned Executive Assistant or a recent graduate looking to get in to a mission driven company working to impact the food system. This person will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer. More than that, the Executive Assistant will become the right hand of the Executive, taking away as many tasks from them as possible to ensure efficiency and productivity.

In addition, this position will be responsible for performing a number of administrative duties including, but not limited to, coordinating schedules, meetings, travel, expenses, etc. The Executive Assistant will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, exercise mature and professional judgment, and have outstanding time management skills.

Position
  • Salary range $80,000-$100+ (depending on experience)
  • Full-time, exempt
  • Onsite in San Francisco, CA

Responsibilities
  • Handles all administrative and clerical duties to ensure the smooth operation of the CEO’s schedule.
  • Manage and maintain multiple calendars, including recurring meetings, prioritizing appropriately and using good judgment in offering solutions to complex scheduling and meeting planning needs.
  • Proactively manage communication, and respond to urgent inquiries from internal / external stakeholders on the CEO’s behalf.
  • Operate with exceptional attention to detail. Anticipate potential changes or shifts in priorities amidst simultaneous demands for attention.
  • Prepare materials to support the CEO, such as topic briefs, presentation materials, and meeting notes.
  • Collaborate closely with the leadership team and external stakeholders, including investors. 
  • Carrying out other duties as necessary, which may include tasks such as meeting notes, research, and making phone calls.

  • Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
  • Highly organized and strong command for both the fine details and the big picture, keeping priorities in constant shuffle
  • Positive attitude and strong business acumen
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and anticipate last minute changes
  • Maintains strict level of complete confidentiality with a high volume of confidential information.
