We are currently looking to fill a Technical Training Business Analyst and Technologist position. This position will support the ownership and execution of the Learning Management System (LMS) and the business processes associated with its use by working with individuals and leadership across the IOPS organization. The position supports the Technical Training program by acquiring and documenting requirements, understanding sophisticated business processes, and developing technological solutions.

In this role, a typical day might include the following:

  • Ensures continuous improvement to the Quality Training System and the GMP Training Program according to GMP and current industry standards.
  • Participates as a member of Technical Training teams to meet departmental objectives, project deadlines and metrics.
  • Gains in-depth understanding of the LMS functionality and how its utilization aligns with business processes.
  • Participates as key member of implementation projects, which may include: requirements gathering, application design, testing, validation, and end-user knowledge transfer/training.
  • Collaborates with Technical Training, stakeholders, and end users to obtain requirements, document processes and develop solutions in order to deliver new business capabilities.
  • Independently assesses and recommends complex business processes and system changes to improve efficiency and business outcomes.
  • Partners with a diverse business community to document as-is and to-be business processes.
  • Documents clear and testable requirements that describe future state functionality.
  • Collaborates in the creation, review, and approval of validation documents.
  • Supports Deviation, CAPA, Change Control, and Quality Risk Managements (QRM) of the LMS.
  • Coordinates with IT to respond to system issues.
  • Conducts system reviews and monitors system configuration to support data integrity requirements.
  • Identifies and supports functionality and technologies that support the Technical Training program.
  • Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application in support of the Training Program.

Education and Experience:
  • BS/BA in Information Technology, Engineering or related field along with a minimum of 5-10 years proven experience supporting technology projects and implementations required. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Level will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
  • GMP experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with use and administration of a Learning Management System (LMS) preferred.
