Summary Description

Myovant Sciences is seeking a Legal Operations Manager to complement our growing Legal & Compliance Department as we further our mission of addressing unmet need in women’s health and prostate cancer through propose-driven science, empowering medicines and transformative advocacy.  This position will be a key member of the Legal Operations team responsible for supporting legal operations initiatives. This position reports to the Associate Director, Legal Operations and will work with other members of the Legal and Compliance team, and cross-functionally with business partners to develop and maintain new and existing systems, processes, training, and change management in support of team and enterprise-wide initiatives.  Key areas of responsibility include managing Myovant’s Learning Management System (LMS) for Legal & Compliance, contract management, and other Legal Operations responsibilities as identified, where this role is expected to lead and manage these efforts. 


Essential Duties & Responsibilities


 Learning Management System (LMS):

  • Responsible for implementation, delivery, and maintenance of the LMS to ensure all respective employees and contractors receive and complete appropriate assignments
  • Support employees and contractors with system or training-related questions or issues in the LMS
  • Regularly compile, review, and process course enrollment data for employees and contractors
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for process and quality improvements, providing feedback on usage, defects, and suggested enhancements
  • Analyze data and recommend solutions to utilize the LMS to deliver, track training and measure performance to meet organizational objectives
  • Generate standard and custom reports from system

Contract Management:

  • Assist with managing contract templates in contract management system
  • Manage contracts database, reporting, and filing system and all requisite data entry
  • Support the Contracts Team with contract and process questions
  • Oversee due diligence research of new suppliers

Other Responsibilities:


Legal and Compliance Team Support and Management

  • Assists with the Legal and Compliance department’s general operations, including vendor management, and contract performance metrics.
  • Supports individual Legal and Compliance team members as requested to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify ways to continuously improve contract templates, streamline processes and operations while exercising strong judgment.

REQUIREMENTS


Education 

  • BS/ BA preferred

Experience

  • 3-6+ years of legal work in areas such as legal operations, contracts administration, or paralegal, experience in an in-house legal department and/or the pharmaceutical industry a plus
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of tools including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel; and project management applications such as Microsoft Visio, preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects.

TRAVEL, PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Regularly required to operate standard office equipment
  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time
  • Regularly required to sit for long periods of time, and occasionally stand and walk
  • Regularly required to use hands to operate computer and other office equipment
  • Close vision required for computer usage
