ROLE SUMMARY
Rimegepant is the first and only oral CGRP receptor antagonist for the acute and preventive treatment of migraine and is approved in the U.S. (United States). where it is commercialized under the trade name Nurtec® ODT. Rimegepant has the unique opportunity to change the paradigm in migraine treatment and potentially establish a new standard of care. Currently there are more than 1 billion people who suffer from migraines worldwide, making this one of the largest population health challenges of our times. Rimegepant is also currently approved in Israel, UAE (United Arab Emirates), and Kuwait and applications for approval of Rimegepant are currently under review by the European Medicines Agency and other regulatory authorities outside of the U.S. and pending approval. Rimegepant will launch in Europe Q2 2022 followed by markets across IDM (International Developed Markets), Emerging Markets and China. Pfizer is solely responsible for the commercialization of this blockbuster asset outside of the U.S.
Rimegepant is a critical launch asset with accountability to contribute growth over the next 3 years across three business units
This role reports to the Senior Director: Global Team Lead, Brand Launch Navigator for Rimegepant and is accountable for developing omnichannel tactics to maximize the launch of Rimegepant globally
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Development of HCP content
Develop customer insights to identify critical success factors and inform short- and long-term strategies in coordination with the Director HCP Lead and Global cross-functional team
Lead development of HCP tactical plan and creation of omnichannel content and resources aligned with the BM 3.3 go to market model and large digial focus
Support value proposition and messaging alignment for HCPs including core claims based on HCP stakeholder insights
Responsible for implementation of Global campaign including messaging, materials, and events ensuring alignment with GLocal principles and BM 3.3
Gather findings from markets and any market research and partner with team to develop the strategy
Demonstrate a strong understanding of competitor space and the therapeutic area to maximize value
Support the tactical execution of key tactics identified within Global operational plan a
Ensure coordination and successful team working with Global Marketing Director: HCP Lead and Thought Leader Lead
Manage projects through RC to ensure impact and compliance
Glocal engagement
Align with local markets to ensure global strategic consistency and appropriate relevance for key Glocal priority anchor markets
Collaborate with local market teams to ensure pull through of Global brand tactics
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 7+ years of experience in US or global pharmaceutical marketing
Strong marketing, analytical and strategic skills including ability to identify and prioritize strategic challenges and balance short term needs with long-term vision; can manage through ambiguity
HCP marketing experience and digital expertise preferred
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience collaborating with cross functional and GLocal teams
Achieves results through others across functions, geographies, and a variety of personality styles
Ability to plan, organize, focus, and execute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of urgency
Demonstrated understanding of the operational complexities required to execute against GLocal Launch readiness in a highly competitive market
Must be mature, self-drive and have exceptional learning agility
BA/BS required, MBA or advanced degree in a related field preferred but not required
Previous experience successfully working within an Alliance preferred but not required
