Position Summary

Responsible for the activities of Statistical Sciences for Medical Aesthetics (Plastics and Regenerative Medicines; Energy-based Devices) to ensure that AbbVie Research and Development projects are correctly designed, properly analysed and clearly presented to support new product development, domestic and international regulatory submissions and the maintenance and growth of existing products. The position also monitors budgetary and resource needs, and evaluates, hires, and manages CROs and/or contract biostatisticians.

 

The employee must conduct their work activities in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and regulatory guidelines as well as all Allergan policies and procedures.

Key Duties / Responsibilities

Role:

Project Statistician

Assist statistical science process development as needed to improve the efficiency and standardization

Role:

Data and Statistical Sciences (DSS) and Statistical Sciences and Analytics (SSA) Representative

Represent DSS and SSA on cross-functional project teams

Project/Resource Management

Low oversight

 

Monitor budgetary and resource needs, and evaluates, hires, and manages CROs and/or contract biostatisticians.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Education:  MS or PhD (preferred) in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related fields.

Experience: PhD with at least 10 years (MS with 12 years) of experience in pharmaceutical statistics;

                      project leadership; non-project (methodology, standards, or process)
