The QA & Operations Training Specialist supports the Quality Assurance (QA) organization to develop and implement training solutions that are efficient, effective and appropriate for the target audience.

Day to day duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provides support to the QA function to ensure appropriateness of group or individual training content and curriculums.
  • Partners and collaborates with cross-functional partners (learners, SMEs and stakeholders) to develop and or to ensure appropriateness of training content for intended audience.
  • Supports the establishment and management of training programs and supplemental QA training initiatives where identified (i.e. GxP annual training, Quality Culture, etc.).
  • Supports, contributes and/or leads in design, development and implementation of learning content to meet training needs through multiple delivery channels: synchronous and asynchronous, including writing, instructional design, content development, graphic design and e-learning delivery
  • Evaluates existing quality training programs and processes to make continuous improvements based on content accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Ensures global alignment of training materials, programs and modes of delivery.
Education and Experience:
  • Associate Specialist: Requires BA/BS degree in education, science, communication or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Specialist: Requires BA/BS degree in education, science, communication or related field and 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Senior Specialist: Requires BA/BS degree in education, science, communication or related field and 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills for a variety of audiences.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, time and project management skills with the ability to work independently to design target timelines under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Ability to learn and simplify complex technical operations or concepts into concise, user-friendly, effective learning content.
  • Ability to learn, support or apply instructional design principles and Adult Learning Theory to design and develop effective, interactive e-learning, classroom or virtual instructor-led training.
  • Experience working in agile and waterfall project methodologies.
  • Experience in UX and visual/graphic design.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to challenge self and others.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
  • Experience in eLearning development tools (such as Articulate 360, Storyline & Rise, Adobe Captivate, Figma, Canva, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience with quality standards and cGxP principles, systems and relevant regulatory guidelines are a plus.
