Thank you for your interest in a career at Senti Biosciences. Our mission is to create a new generation of smarter medicines that outmaneuver complex diseases in ways previously inconceivable. We are passionate about designing gene circuits to improve the “intelligence” of cell and gene therapies in order to enhance their therapeutic effectiveness against a broad range of diseases that conventional medicines are unable to address.
At Senti, we find purpose and meaning knowing that our efforts have the potential to improve the lives of patients and their families with more effective and safer treatment options. With science as our foundation and empathy as our key guiding principle, colleagues become friends, managers become mentors, and with time, cancer becomes history.

Our team is seeking a talented, passionate, and driven Research Associate I/II to join our team developing logic gated immune cells for the treatment of solid tumors. More specifically as a member of a highly collaborative team you will participate in enhancing CAR-NK cells functions against solid tumors.
The successful candidate should be knowledgeable and have prior experience in flow cytometry and cell-based functional assays and work collaboratively across various project teams to meet deadlines and milestones.
Most of all, we are seeking a curious, bold, detail-orientated, and collaborative individual, who is eager to be part of a positive work environment with other researchers to develop much needed novel cell therapies targeting cancer.
  • Perform immunology phenotypic and functional assays such as using multi-color flow cytometry, Luminex, ELISA, gene-expression, etc.
  • Perform in vitro and ex vivo functional assays (co-culture, killing assay, etc)
  • Assist in performing in vivo experiments and downstream assays (flow cytometry, gene-expression).
  • Write and follow SOP, maintain detailed electronic lab records, perform data analysis and generate conclusions and new hypotheses.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present experiments to the team.
  • Collaborate with your Senti colleagues by coordinating with other group members and research teams to troubleshoot problems, develop new assays and protocols, and support cross-functional projects.

  • BS or MS or equivalent expertise in Cell Biology, immunology, Tumor Immunology, or similar.
  • Research experience in a biology laboratory setting; industry experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on proficiency with immune primary cells culture and phenotypic and functional assays, including cell-based assays measuring cell proliferation, cytotoxicity, and cytokine production.
  • Experience with multicolor flow cytometry and data analysis.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new research areas and implement new techniques with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multi-functional team.

Salary and Benefits
  • Base pay and stock options to be determined based on application qualifications with the aim of being competitive with similar roles in the area
  • Significant growth opportunity as the company expands
  • Empathetic, supportive and collaborative colleagues and work environment
