Custom Production Lab Technician

We have a full time Custom Production Technician position available in St. Cloud, Minnesota.  We hold every member of our team to a high standard of excellence – because everyone on our team makes an impact on our success and contributes to our ability to thrive in the rapidly changing environment.

We are looking for a motivated person who is eager to learn and grow as a member of our team – someone who wants to be responsible for the production of lyophilized microorganism lots such as custom solutions lots, new strains for addition to retail microorganism product lines, proficiency lots, and development lots for new lyophilized retail products.

In this role, you could expect the following responsibilities and duties:

• Grow, subculture, and harvest various types of microorganism lots
• Load/unload, run, and perform daily maintenance of lyophilizers
• Set up and completion of harvest and dislodging
• Package serial strain vials to be used in production of additional lots
• Package finished Custom Solutions Products and document appropriately
• Maintain an accurate tracking system so others can quickly determine the status of each lot
• Order media and supplies for the laboratory
