Duties include but not limited to:

  • Performing lab experiments in microvolumes in 96 and 384 well plates to test quality and performance of peptides and other reagents following SOPs.
  • Day to day management of multiple -20°C and -80°C freezers.
  • Communicate with Manufacturing and R&D scientists the status and results of QC tests.
  • Document lab work in notebook as well as in tracking software and manufacturing forms.
  • Using computer software for data analysis, inventory tracking, and communications.
  • Maintain a safe lab environment by following SOPs and GLP practices.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree or graduate of a Certificate Program in biology, biotechnology, or related field with 1-5 years of lab experience.
  • Highly motivated and self-driven – ability to work in a fast-paced, interdependent working environment.
  • Trained in small volume dispensing with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn new techniques and effectively multitask to achieve goals efficiently.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office/Access.
  • Demonstrated organizational, documentation and oral communication skills with ability to work independently and as a team.

Not Required but Preferred Skills & Experience - The ideal candidate should have one or more:

  • Familiarity with manufacturing of consumable reagent and kit products for the Life Science market.
  • Understanding of fluorescence- and microtiter plate-based reader assays.
  • Using software for data analysis (Excel, XL-Fit, GraphPad Prism, etc.)
