Temp R&D Specialist

Regeneron’s Therapeutic Proteins team, located in Tarrytown NY, is looking for a Temporary R&D Specialist to join the team. In this exciting role you will be dedicated to potency testing of manufacturing and QC lots of lead clinical molecules. In addition, you will help in developing and optimizing immunoassays to be used for drug potency testing.

A Typical Day in the Role Might Look Like:

• Binding and Blocking ELISA development
• (MSD) cell binding assay development
• Test potency of manufacturing/QC lots from PMPD and long term thermal and photostability samples from Formulation
• Data analysis of samples through GraphPad Prism and Excel
• Keeping accurate lab notebook records

This Role Might Be For You If You Have:

• Experience with ELISA related immunoassays necessary
• Computer knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint necessary; experience with GraphPad Prism a plus
• The ability to handle multiple projects at one time
• Strong time management and organizational skills are necessary
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
• Good communication skills necessary

We are seeking someone with a bachelor's or master's degree and 2-5 years of laboratory experience. Technical skills in ELISA and/or MSD cell binding is essential. Experience in working in GLP environment is beneficial. A working knowledge and/or theoretical understanding of drug-ligand binding is preferable. Proficiency in statistical analysis of data and detail oriented, analytical mindset are highly desirable. The candidate is expected to work in a team-oriented environment; multi-task; concisely and accurately analyze data and communicate well both within the group and across group settings.
