Description

RefleXion is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner (Senior HRBP) to join our growing HR Team!  The ideal candidate will effectively deploy Company initiatives involving all aspects of HR, with a focus on employee development & training, compensation and total rewards programs, performance management, coaching and conflict resolution, and data analysis.  The Senior HRBP will work as part of the HR Team and partner with RefleXion’s leaders to craft and deliver HR programs, policies, and activities to the workforce.  This role will serve as a strategic business adviser for human relations issues and will facilitate change and improve internal processes.  The Senior HRBP will interface with all levels of the organization and demonstrate excellent communication skills, strategic thinking and planning, strong business acumen, and the ability to function in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Engage with all members of the HR team to help develop and deliver a variety of HR initiatives and projects including employee training and development, performance management, employee relations, succession planning, total rewards, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Design, develop, and manage comprehensive learning and professional development programs for all employees, including management training, to strengthen skills, increase engagement, and energize staff and teams in their roles and responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders to identify and determine employee training and development needs to promote career growth and nurture talent development at all levels
  • Manage Annual Performance Management Appraisal Cycle and all related initiatives including developing and deploying internal training programs, monitoring outcomes and revising as necessary
  • Coach and advise management on organizational and interpersonal communications related to performance management, coaching and disciplinary procedures, problem resolution, and termination of employees.
  • Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations in order to resolve complex employee relations issues; manages employee relations documentation and metrics
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to management of employees to reduce legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Partner with business leaders to create and maintain accurate job descriptions with appropriate job levels and classifications that align with Company career ladders
  • Assist leadership with strategic headcount forecasting and related succession planning
  • Help develop and deploy Company compensation policies and programs through external and internal equity research to attract and retain top talent.
  • Manage and maintain termination processes including preparation of severance packages in partnership with senior leadership and legal as needed
  • Create and maintain exit and stay interview content for evaluative purposes (track trends and provide key insights)
  • Support benefits administration, open enrollment, and maintenance activities, in partnership with other HR team members
  • Proactively work with employees, managers, and administrative teams to ensure business critical employee data integrity and provides reporting from multiple sources including HRIS, ATS, and other databases related to headcount, labor costs and talent
  • Develop and implement employee engagement programs to continuously improve engagement and retention with creative solutions and HR initiatives.
  • Analyze human capital trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • This candidate must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area and work from the Hayward office on a hybrid schedule
  • 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with a focus on learning and development, performance management, and employee relations. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field or equivalent work experience and knowledge.
  • Highly skilled at manipulating and organizing data to create internal Company materials utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Fluent in using data from HR systems (HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems, Learning Management Systems) to derive insights and strategies to help Leaders make intelligent business decisions and drive focus on business goals
  • Practitioner experience in ADP Workforce Now preferred
  • Experienced selecting, designing, and facilitating leadership development, talent management, and performance management processes and programs that will sustain with high growth
  • Ability to plan, execute, and drive projects from conception to action through planning, time management, organization and follow-up.
  • Extensive knowledge of California Employment Laws (HR & Benefits).
  • Professional interpersonal skills that foster trust and partnership with employees across the organization.
  • Able to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
  • Effective and concise written and oral communication; must be able to speak clearly and persuasively and deal diplomatically with confidential and sensitive matters.
  • Outstanding public-speaking and presentation skills with the ability to lead training’s and presentations to large audiences.
