Lets do this. Lets change the world. During this 6-month program (February 2022), you will have the opportunity to work closely with a multi-discipline team inside the Process Development department supporting the Business Performance team and different areas within the AML11 building. The student will have the opportunity to support streamlining/efficiency improvements in the training assignments for the Drug Substance Process Development team in Amgen Manufacturing Limited.

  • Evaluate current training assignments for the following functional areas
    • Purification Sciences and Engineering
    • Cell Sciences and Engineering
    • Attribute Sciences
    • Business and Lab Operations
  • Evaluate the training assignments for efficiency opportunities
    • Elimination of redundant or inapplicable assignments
    • Identification of opportunities to combine similar assignments
  • Implement updates to assignments using the OTRT workflow
  • Update corresponding Training Assignment Portfolios
  • Provide overview sessions to area managers upon implementation
  • Perform other related tasks such as staff interviews, and additional OTRTs necessary to update staff assigned to resulting assignments

  • Pursuing a bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering
  • At Least 3.00 of GPA (General).
  • Have completed at least 3 years of college education
  • Be enrolled in School
  • Be pursuing an applicable degree or course of study
  • Bilingual in English / Spanish

Beyond that, we prefer that the student possess:

  • Knowledge in Smartsheet
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Well-organized and self-motivated
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
