As a Manager, Talent Acquisition you will lead a team to develop, drive, and execute on the recruiting strategies that support our GRAIL Talent organization. This role partners closely with our head of Talent to ensure that together we identify, engage and hire dream teams. You'll partner with internal teams in the Engineering and Technical functions to help support our growth.
You Will:
  • Hire, coach, and develop a high impact team of Talent Advisors and Sourcers
  • Set team performance goals and metrics, timelines and formal tracking process to measure and manage progress
  • Operate as a strong leader who exemplifies our values
  • Partner with leaders and People Business Partners to assess hiring needs, workforce planning, capacity planning, and year-end planning to build a stronger strategic approach for the Talent organizationAssist with the end to end talent acquisition strategy that executes on key hiring priorities
  • Operation rigor with data driven mindset toward KPI and metrics results
  • Harmonizing processes within the recruiting team – establishing consistent communication, hand offs and experience
  • Partner with and coach leaders to help them build dream teams
  • Work with leaders to assess representation within their teams and develop diversity recruiting strategies that go beyond the basics and address systemic barriers
  • Scale and evolve the team to meet business demand
  • Act as Player / Coach, directly manage searches as needed
  • Delivering top recruiting services for assigned business units

Your Background Should Include:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of recruiting experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing recruiting teams - building and leading a team, evolving roles and responsibilities, and resource planning to support the evolving needs of the business
  • Experience in a fast paced, ever evolving environment, knowing when to implement a smart process and when to be scrappy
  • Experience managing a dispersed and/or remote recruiting team
  • Skilled at using data to analyze recruiting trends and gaps, diagnose challenges and develop solutions to improve recruiting
  • Understanding about diversity and inclusion; you view every search as an opportunity to increase representation on a team
  • HIGHLY preferred experience with merger and integration
