In this critical role you will support the Value & Access organization and be a member of US Contracts and Pricing Product team, with a focus on Model Ns Revenue Cloud suite supporting Commercial contracting and discounts, including Channel, Payer and Provider rebates. The Specialist, in the role of a Business Systems Analyst and SAFe Scrum Master, will be the main point of contact for product development and DevOps for US commercial contracting and rebate operations, and will orchestrate multi-functional collaboration vital for delivery of technology services. .

  • Having a deep understanding of Model Ns Pharma Revenue Cloud platform, including Contract Strategies, Rebates and Fees for Managed Care, Channel, and Provider, and Master Data management (products, pricing, contracts, customers and memberships) in the context of driving product development and DevOps in an integrated Contracts and Pricing ecosystem.
  • Developing and supporting commercial contracting strategies and rebate operations in the Model N platform with a solid understanding of dependencies on and impacts to government pricing calculations
  • Experience and strong interest in identifying and implementing innovative new technologies to integrate Amgens contract operations and lifecycle management capabilities
  • Work experience in a SAFe Agile Product team as Product Specialist responsible for PI planning, backlog grooming, sprint planning and implementation, release planning, prioritization and effort estimation
  • Experience working multi-functionally to support integrated processes with related systems such as Amgens SAP, Customer Master, and AWS-based Data Lake and Analytics platforms
  • Aligning externally with industry peers and technology vendors to influence vendor platform visioning and roadmap development.
  • Working with business partners, end users, and technology teams to capture, understand, and define business requirements
  • Supporting processes for custom development/ system improvements, configuration maintenance, documentation, testing release management and run activities

Doctorate degree

OR

Masters degree and 3 years of Information Systems experience

OR

Bachelors degree and 5 years of Information Systems experience

OR

Associates degree and 10 years of Information Systems experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Information Systems experience

  • Experience with Contracting Revenue Management platforms such as Model N or Revitas in the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with focus on information system management, data management and integration
  • Ability to work in a changing environment, under pressure, prioritising multiple projects simultaneously
  • Superb communication skills to work across and up through the organization, including customer concerns and mitigation of issues, risks, and business impacts. Product partner communication skills to manage business relationships
  • Sophisticate problem-solving capabilities and ability to use constraints as opportunities
  • Working understanding of SAFe Agile, Scrum, Design Thinking, and Lean Startup principles, and tools such as Jira, and Jira Align
  • Ability to master, with minimal support, new IS technologies and processes
  • Solid discernment, understanding of what are the key business drivers that will generate desired results and promote use cases
  • Solid project management and technical skills and experience
  • Working experience with product development, software development and software architecture
  • Experience with cloud computing, data management and integration platforms such as AWS, Databricks, and Mulesoft
  • Experience with Tableau and other reporting and analytics tools
  • Excellent influencing skills, with demonstrable ability to work collaboratively and effectively with key business partners, IT leadership teams, and external service providers
