Senior Manager/Associate Director, Payer Analytics

We are currently seeking a qualified, highly motivated, experienced individual for the position of Senior Manager/Associate Director, Payer Analytics. The position reports to Senior Director, Pricing and Contracting Strategy. The location of the position is in Brisbane, CA.

The Senior Manager/Associate Director, Payer Analytics will have primary responsibility for conducting business analysis to inform the commercial strategy, including secondary data analytics related to payers, pricing, contracting, and key segments to inform commercial strategy and forecasting.  Primary research will also be a secondary responsibility.  The role coordinates with other members of the Market Access team and brand teams to generate key insights and recommendations that drive strategy and execution for prostate and women’s health indications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Secondary Data Analytics (90%)

• Primary point of contact with Commercial Operations, leveraging their capabilities to provide data in the format required to conduct analyses to inform Market Access & brand team decision making and to track brand performance.
• Seek out and evaluate new vendors and sources of data to inform decision making regarding the data sets Myovant purchases.
• Payer coverage analytics
• Patient support program and co-pay assistance analytics
• Assess ROI of PBM contracts to inform contracting & national account strategy
• Analytics to support forecasting and strategic planning

Primary Market Research (10%)

• Work with Payer Marketing and other key stakeholders to identify knowledge gaps and develop market research plans based on budget and business needs.
• Lead market research projects, including vendor selection, design, execution and interpretation of market research results to deliver insights.
• Manage vendor partnerships including negotiating costs, on-boarding, ensuring accountability, and timely project execution.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements

• Experience in Market Access secondary analytics
• High analytical capability with history of effectively developing and tracking performance metrics and market insights
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/assignments and meeting short deadlines
• Interest in exploring and developing new approaches, processes and methodologies
• Ability to recognize project issues/concerns and make recommendations to resolve
• Highly-skilled in influencing and effectively partnering with cross-functional teams
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, project management, and confident executive presence
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

REQUIREMENTS

Education

• Bachelor of Art or Science in Health Sciences or related discipline/Business Administration

Experience

• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience for Senior Manager level or minimum of 5 years of experience for Associate Director level in the pharmaceutical industry, with relevant experience in data analysis, decision support, and product level forecasting
