The Associate Director, Patient Support Services is a critical role in the Regeneron Market Access department. You will be responsible for managing several components of Eylea4U, including reimbursement, adherence, and financial support programs. This individual will develop and maintain a high-level of collaboration and integration with all cross-functional Regeneron staff, including Field Teams, Brand Marketing, Training, Market Access, Trade, Reimbursement, and Market Research. 

A typical day may include the following:
  • Manage the day to day operations of the reimbursement and financial support activities (e.g. BV, PA, Appeals, copay, Free Goods, and Annual Reverification)
  • Support the development of strategies and tactics that enhance the patient and provider experience from initial prescription through adherence
  • Develop, create, and launch program correspondences and materials (i.e., content and processes)
  • Hold suppliers accountable for delivering high quality service and meeting all contractual service level agreements
  • Support the Program Lead by managing budgets, invoices, and audit activities
  • Assist in the planning and execution of innovative service offerings to support currently approved (and pipeline) products
  • Understand and analyze program data to effectively communicate information to different functional areas in the commercial organization (including senior management, field teams, marketing, and market access)
  • Represent the Patient Support Services team in Review Committee meetings to advance correspondences for both field and supplier use
  • Collaborate with PSS peers and external suppliers to extend best practices across programs
  • Comply with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of Regeneron activities

This role may be for you if you have:
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills. This includes demonstrating an understanding of how to escalate issues/concerns and effectively communicate with others, especially those in other functional areas.
  • Proven ability to deliver innovative achievements independently without the reliance of agency support.
  • Previous experience in managing a reimbursement or patient assistance program.
  • Ability to analyze data to present strategic opportunities to the business to continually enhance support offerings.
  • Product launch experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the U.S. healthcare systems, including expertise in reimbursement policies related to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Clear understanding of the implications of payer and reimbursement policy impact on prescriber and patient behaviors as well as sales force activity.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and excellent ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. 
  • Ethical, team player mentality and the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment, contributing creative ideas and positive energy to the group.

To be considered for this opportunity you will possess the following:

Bachelors' Degree and 8+ years of meaningful professional experience; 5+ years working for or with pharmaceutical manufacturers. Preferred areas of experience include patient services operations, market access, patient engagement, or field reimbursement. We expect you will have a strong patient focus and an understanding of patient access services. Knowledge of Buy & Bill, as well as Specialty Pharmacy, biologics marketplace. Proven track record to manage multiple projects within specified timelines and quality standards, and have excellent public presentation skills, both written and verbal. We expect to see knowledge of the U.S. healthcare systems, including expertise in health care reimbursement policies related to the pharmaceutical industry, with application in a wide array of clinical settings and reimbursement strategies in all market segments.

Must be willing to travel up to 30%
