Working closely with the Chief Scientific Officer and collaborating across multiple functional areas, the Senior Director, Precision Medicine will define and drive our precision therapeutics strategy across the organization.  This critical leader will work across target discovery, nonclinical development, biomarker and CDx, and data science teams to distill large multimodal datasets into actionable insights and apply these insights to biomarker and therapeutic development.  This cross-functional role is best suited to a dynamic and strategic leader with experience in integrating and applying computational and systems biology to complex research endeavors, in a fast-paced, small company environment.  This is a unique opportunity to join a top-tier organization pioneering precision medicine approaches in a large market with a dire unmet need, to continue to develop the scientific foundations of a leading immune therapies company.



  • Drive strategy and continued evolution of our precision medicine platform, Prometheus360™
  • Develop coordinated research and development efforts between the data science, discovery biology, biomarker development groups
  • Work with internal teams and collaborators on identification and prioritization of new targets and biomarkers
  • Provide systems biology expertise across the organization, including business development evaluations



Education and Experience

  • PhD, MS, or other relevant post-graduate degree in Biology or related field
  • 10 or more years of experience in academia, biotech and/or industry, preferably in the field of auto-immune diseases
  • Proven success working in a highly matrixed organization
  • Experience with analysis and interpretation of systems biology including large complex multi-omic data sets
  • Experience with the integration of bioinformatics and high throughput approaches into target and biomarker discovery and development workflows
  • Well versed with current data science methodologies and lexicon including machine and deep learning approaches
  • Prior experience with biomarkers and precision drug development is desirable
