Associate Director Government Affairs Nordics Kite

Following the acquisition of Kite Pharma by Gilead Sciences, a position has opened in the Government Affairs team at Gilead Sciences Nordics.

Gilead Sciences, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company that has pursued and achieved breakthroughs in medicine for more than three decades, with the goal of creating a healthier world for all people. The company is committed to advancing innovative medicines to prevent and treat life-threatening diseases, including HIV, viral hepatitis and cancer. Kite's core technology involves the genetic engineering of T cells, or white blood cells, to express either chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) or T cell receptors (TCRs) for the treatment of advanced solid and haematological malignancies. Kite and Gilead's engagement in cell therapy was further strengthened in December when Gilead also acquired Cell Design Labs, a company developing a synthetic biology technology that enables the reprogramming of the molecular machinery of human cells to perform new therapeutic functions.
