Overview:

This position involves performance and task management. Candidate will meet regularly with key Clinical Data Science stakeholders to incorporate lessons learned from projects and studies to apply those lessons to curricula as needed. Partners with GPA leadership to suggest and implement improvements to existing curriculum. Applied education principles and Good Programming Practice to the purpose of delivering instruction to Programming Academy programmers. Collects meaningful assessments of learning outcomes related to programmer learnings and the overreaching program. Oversees programmers. May attend conferences or classes related to programming, educational training practices, human resources, and/or management training.

Responsibilities:
  • Applies educational theory to assist with design of programming curriculum and associated training strategy.
  • Applies appropriate differentiation in classroom settings, both virtual and traditional, to meet incoming programmers at the appropriate level.
  • Manages a team of programmers and/or interns.
  • Collaborates with GPA leaders to continuously improve training curriculum.
  • In coordination with GPA leadership, produces select curriculum content.
  • Delivers instruction and collects feedback about that instruction
  • Provides mentorship for Academy programmers.
  • Utilizes tools for benchmarking GPA programmers' knowledge and skills and assessing the learning outcomes for those programmers.
  • Coordinates with Programming hiring managers to provide GPA programmer candidates to interview for open roles.
  • Excellent presentation abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide feedback on educator activities and standards guides.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required.


Education & Experience:
  • Degree in Biostatistics, Computer Sciences, or equivalent required.
  • 8+ years of experience with a Bachelors (or)
  • 6+ years of experience with a Masters and/or PhD
