What You Will Achieve

The Quality Control (QC) Senior Training Associate will provide training solutions to support the business needs on the site. This will be done through the development and delivery of compliant and applicable training in accordance with regulatory, corporate, and site policies. This role will partner with Organizational Learning to ascertain training needs and develop required training programs.


The successful candidate will design and develop training material (e.g., PowerPoint slides, eLearning, skill checks, assessments), deliver instructor-led training, complete training session documentation, and follow up with trainees on failed assessments. You will work collaboratively with Organizational Learning and Quality Control subject matter experts to design and develop training materials, leveraging adult learning best practices. In addition to the day-to-day training responsibilities, the successful candidate will be able to independently manage continuous improvement projects related to the training program, the learning management system (LMS), and associated business processes. The role will also support and participate in corporate training initiatives.

The Senior Training Associate will also be responsible for reviewing current QC group training curricula, developing role specific modules to minimize unnecessary training and conducting training as needed. How You Will Achieve It

Primary Activities Include:

  • Deliver training in a variety of settings and audience size (e.g., classroom, small group, and 1:1). 
  • Design and develop training content in a variety of formats including PowerPoint slides and eLearning. 
  • Work collaboratively with Organizational Learning and functional areas. 
  • Lead small to medium sized projects independently. 
  • Create and foster collaborative customer relationships by focusing on meeting customer needs and responding to training-related questions/issues.
  • Provide advice/guidance regarding potential training improvements to stakeholders.
QualificationsMust-Have
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (education, communication, or science).
  • 4+ years of experience in training, instructional design, or related field required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees, with a high customer service focus.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to handle changing deadlines.
Nice-to-Have
  • 1-3 years of training facilitation and/or instructional design
  • Successful completion of PGS Train the Trainer course
  • Familiarity and knowledge of common enterprise systems, such as learning management systems, document management systems
  • Knowledge of the DMAIC process
  • Master’s Degree
  • In-depth knowledge of drug substance / drug product testing

  
 

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

This position will spend significant time in an office and training environment.  There may occasions when the person will be required to enter a warehouse or laboratory environment, in a training capacity, and must be able to wear all required PPE.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Standard M-F on-site work week, days.  No travel required.
