Who You Are:

The Director/Senior Director of Patient Marketing will support the development of patient materials supporting a late-stage commercial asset, Acoramidis for ATTR-cardiomyopathy.  The Dir/Sr Dir will drive cross-functional collaboration and tactical alignment, ensuring success in the US and across the globe.  You will serve as an internal patient champion incorporating patient perspectives into all appropriate initiatives ensuring a patient-centric mindset and engagement in organizational activities across all functions.

This person will play a lead strategic role on commercial global product teams and work closely with Market Insights, Development, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Patient Advocacy, and other key stakeholders. The position requires excellent communication skills, leadership, and a proven ability to influence across the organization. Candidates should feel at home in a fast-paced environment.  The Director of Patient Marketing will report to the Vice President, Marketing.

  • Redefining the Patient and Caregiver educational strategy and leading the patient marketing initiatives for ATTR-CM in the US market
  • Develop and execute the best-in-class annual patient marketing plans, inclusive of relevant brand strategies
  • Collaborate and contribute to projects that focus on supporting the intersection between HCP, patient support services, medical, patient, and caregivers/families
  • Work closely with patients and caregivers, HCPs, and PAOs, as appropriate, and will be a key cross-functional player, liaising with numerous teams to accomplish goals, including Field Teams, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Patient Advocacy, Patient Services, Medical, and Market Access
  • Partner with internal digital team & agency partners to develop digital content and non-personal promotional plans
  • Critically evaluate the effectiveness of programs through KPIs and other metrics to ensure a positive return on investment and achievement of objectives
  • Manage agency partners driving the overall planning, maintaining consistency with other functions, and ensuring that they align with overarching corporate goals
  • Track spend against the yearly budget - accountable for successful completion of projects on time and budget

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements:
  • 5+ years Patient Marketing experience required within Pharma
  • Experience developing holistic patient marketing campaigns—from disease awareness to therapy initiation to adherence—lead tactical execution, and measure success
  • Strong leadership skills, interpersonal and people management experience
  • Successful launch experience in a competitive market preferred
  • Global marketing experience preferred
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Cardiovascular experience preferred
  • Passionate about serving patients suffering from Genetic diseases
  • High-level strategic thinking, with the ability to translate customer insights into actionable marketing strategy
  • Proven self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to handle full workload across multiple projects 
  • High level of self-awareness and understanding of the importance of self-monitoring behavior for continuous improvement
