Working as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for owning the Accounts Payable function as well as handling General Accounting functions including account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, etc. This Senior Accountant opening is located in the Boca Raton, FL and is being considered a hybrid role. Responsibilities

 
  • Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
  • Ready monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet analysis for management reporting
  • Accountable for the full cycle Accounts Payable function of the department
  • Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
  • Function with business partners to ensure compliance with procedures and controls, corporate accounting policies, and provide support on special requests
  • Bring a daily dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
  • Take part in various department-wide initiatives
  • Carry out monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
  • Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus
  • Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing, with functional department managers
  • Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities; provides support for other team members as needed
Requirements
  • BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired
  • 5 or more years of Accounts Payable (AP) experience
  • Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
  • Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports
  • Experience working in a rapidly growing and changing company environment a plus
  • Must have ERP system experience (SAP highly preferred)
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to retain complex work directions
  • Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Financial reporting systems proficiency
  • MS Office experience coupled with expert level Excel skills
  • Must be an effective communicator
