Manager, Field Compliance OPENDOOR

 

Purpose:

The primary function of the Field Compliance Manager role is to oversee all aspects of AbbVie’s process for credentialing, Value Analysis, and operational execution of State/City Legislative access issues including crisis response action impacting the field.  This includes the development and shaping of AbbVie’s tactics and processes to support external requirements, Federal laws, and recommendations from national accreditation agencies governing representative access to all types of HCPs.  This role will report to the Associate Director, Commercial Compliance.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee execution of OPENDOOR services for over 6,000 field personnel across the nation and accountable for understanding the credentialing rules of hospital systems nationwide.
  • Assist manager to integrate tasks and operational methods around access solutions through extensive interaction with colleagues from a wide variety of positions within AbbVie.
  • Provide clear communication and direction to field personnel at all levels about their personal responsibility in order to mitigate risk, achieve compliance and increase access implement solutions for State/City Legislative/Health issues that impact field access.
  • Create and maintain a wide and deep network of relationships across AbbVie field management to include GM's, and Sales Directors.  Build rapport to become a trusted partner with established credibility and respect across field personnel, field management and functional support teams.  Develop and maintain a successful partnership with OEC, Legal and Corporate, as well as other key stakeholders.
  • Point of contact for all franchises and disease state areas for brand planning, strategy development and capability building in respect to HCIR access considerations.
  • Coordinates multiple projects across cross-functional teams.  Provide compliance and operational information to stakeholders in a timely and accurate means regarding project progress.   
  • Responsible for the development and oversight of training of field personnel.  Conduct data analysis, customer insight gathering, and clues from external environment to continually modify the process to ensure business compliance while enhancing agility for the end users.
  • Develops and updates policies and procedures that reflect improvements/changes to HCIR credentialing activities.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 7-10 years of professional experience with 2-3 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry strongly preferred.
  • Breadth of experience: Sales, Transparency Reporting, Field Operations, Project Management, and compliance/quality.
  • Possesses strong communication and presentation skills to lead collaborative efforts across a diverse customer and vendor base including interactions/communication to senior leadership. 
  • Demonstrates the ability to deliver complex information in ways that are easily understood. Ability to influence and advise senior leadership.
  • Effectively utilizes all available resources, either within or outside of direct span of control, to manage diverse workload, maximize productivity, motivate team members, and encourage innovation and agility.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive desired outcomes with all levels internally and externally.
  • Experience in leading and organizing project teams and working across organizational boundaries and with all levels.
  • Experience with State and Federal Transparency Reporting desired.
