Performing cell enrichment, cell culture, antibody staining and phenotypic characterization
Independently designing, conducting, and analyzing multicolor flow-cytometry experiments
Optimizing and carrying out functional assays such as ELISA
Performing molecular biology experiments, including DNA/RNA purification, RT-PCR and molecular cloning
Analyzing and presenting data in a team-based setting
Maintaining complete, accurate, and timely records of experiments and data analysis
Contributing to lab equipment maintenance and ordering supplies/reagents to help create a safe, effective, and efficient working environment
This role may be for you if:
You can work in a collaborative fast paced working environment
You have a strong desire to develop your skills
You are an independent thinker and have problem solving abilities
You excel at maintaining experimental documentation
To be considered for this position, you must have a BS+5 years or a MS+3 years of experience in Immunology, Biology, Biochemistry, or related discipline. Hands-on technical experience in cell culture and/or PBMC isolation, and flow cytometry is required. Knowledge of functional assays (ELISA, ELISPOT) is highly desired, but training can be provided if necessary. Experience with molecular biology techniques (DNA/RNA/qRT-PCR, cloning) is a plus.
