We are seeking a Senior Desktop Support Engineer to join our team at Scorpion Therapeutics in Boston, MA. In this role, you will be the lead member for desktop support at Scorpion Therapeutics. You will engage with the IT team and various business units to work effectively. This is an opportunity to provide efficient and effective technical support for a growing company. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide timely and effective end user support via ticket tracking platform.
  • Provide support around conference room technology and select meetings.
  • Assist in management of corporate user account identities.
  • Handling of equipment for staff onboarding & offboarding.
  • Ensuring our standard applications are being deployed correctly and with the most efficient configurations to our endpoints.
  • Manage our endpoint inventory including keeping accurate asset records.
  • Recommend technology improvements and or processes changes to drive a more efficient help desk and or endpoint management environment.
  • Foster collaborative culture within the IT team, and between its partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing end user support including supporting executive leadership.
  • Experience in deploying endpoint computers via Autopilot, Microsoft MDT or other imaging based solutions.
  • Experience with modern endpoint management tools such as Intune or other MDM type solutions.
  • Experience with building deployment packages for distribution to endpoints.

CAPABILITIES

  • Able to provide a calm and responsive desk side manner.
  • Ability to work with vendor support if necessary to resolve various software issues.
  • Ability to build software into distributable packages for tools such as Intune.
  • Ability to be organized to properly track corporate assets.
