Our manufacturing logistics and supply team makes sure that customers and patients have the medicines they need, when they need them. You’ll help bring medicines to the world even faster by embracing challenges, imagining what’s possible and taking action.
What You Will AchieveYou will help Pfizer carry out the activities in distribution logistics centers to meet customer requirements, such as shipping and receiving requests, packing, storage, distribution of products, samples and promotional literature to domestic and/or international locations and associated customer service. You will act as a logistics facilitator to ensure all elements of the distribution process are coordinated in a way that customer requirements and time constraints are met.
As part of the Technical Operations team, your prior work experience and ability to apply your breadth of knowledge will help you adapt the standard methods and procedures. You will help us identify required delivery and process improvements that drive increased efficiency, throughput and quality. You will arrive at decisions on which methods and procedures are the best fit for different work situations.

How You Will Achieve ItManage own time, professional development and accountable for own results.
Prioritize own work flow and may assist in prioritizing the work flow of less-experienced colleagues.
Provide leadership to team members in support of achieving goals and objectives of the team and achievement of operating company service level agreements.
Support manager with customer disputes with robust root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action plan.
Identify Environment, Health & Safety (Local applications) opportunities and implement safety solutions in conjunction with Safety Engineer.
Partner with Customer Service, Transportation, Receiving, etc. to drive results.
Provide reports to manager and Customer Service of completed tasks and queries.
Support housekeeping, safety and quality targets.
Work with contracted guard service for oversight of inbound deliveries.
Monitor workflow and volume and manage operational supplies.
Comply with all governing regulations (e.g. Good Manufacturing Practices, good housekeeping practices and good documentation practices).
Support investigations and implement actions associated with Quality System findings. Lead Team Huddle meeting and review metrics
Support investigations and implement actions associated with Quality System findings (i.e. Quality Assurance Report(QARs), Events Reports (ERs), and Commitments (CT), etc).
Train and develop colleagues on operational processes.
Operate Material Handling Equipment
High School Diploma or GED
Understanding and comprehension of System Application & Products (SAP) functionality and T-Codes required for wave planning
Excellent knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Strong collaboration, influencing and problem-solving skills team member, ability to contribute positively to the morale of the team
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to Operate Material Handling Equipment
Bachelor's Degree
Good Manufacturing Practices experience
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Normal Indoor Warehouse requires 7 - 10 hours spent standing and walking on concrete on the Warehouse floor or 1-3 sitting are required. Requires bending and twisting using proper ergonomic techniques. Some lifting of packages of up to 40 lbs may be required..
