The Senior Financial Analyst supports the financial planning and analysis with respect to Actuals, Plan, LBE, and LRP for the Treasury P&L, approximately $2.4Bn in interest and exchange expense. Responsible for the Treasury balance sheet planning and reporting of ~$10Bn in cash and ~$80Bn in long-term debt.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Plan/Update, LBE and LRP packages for Treasury for both senior leaders and for corporate submissions
- Collection, preparation, and analysis of data for accurate and timely completion of monthly/quarterly financial close, and quarterly schedules for leadership meetings and external reporting
- Performs strategic, scenario and variance analyses for total P&L and balance sheet with opportunities to present to Corporate Treasurer
- Responsible for debt administration
- Accurate and timely recordkeeping of long-term debt
- Collaborate with Accounting on monthly accruals and other entries
- Coordinate and confirm all interest and principal payments on debt instruments and quarterly AbbVie dividend payments
- Facilitates and consolidates information required for Sarbanes Oxley, internal, and external audits
Qualifications
Qualifications Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Finance or Accounting preferred)
- Minimum 4+ years progressive and related experience
- Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SAP preferred
