Position
  • Full-time, exempt
  • Onsite in San Francisco, CA

Responsibilities
  • Manage a team that is accountable for the company’s labs, offices, GMP production areas, and kitchens
  • Lead the selection and buildout of new facilities
  • Manage day to day operations of our facilities including maintenance, purchasing, installing, and repairs
  • Work cross functionally with departments across the company to make sure their facility needs are being met
  • Work with company leadership to craft real estate strategy
  • Help the company comply with applicable building codes and local rules, regulations and laws
  • Assume budgetary responsibility for facilities costs including long range planning
  • Manage a robust, compliant, and cost-effective EH&S program


About You
  • A minimum 10 years of facility management experience
  • Experience managing biotech labs and GMP production spaces. Commercial kitchen spaces are preferred
  • Passionate about contributing to our mission to create high-quality meat products in a better way
  • A proven leader who motivates others to collaborate effectively and deliver outstanding results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to present to and influence peers and executive leadership
  • Broad experience with EH&S, Security and Risk Management
  • Good knowledge of codes, regulations and laws that affect lab, office, GMP production, and kitchen spaces
