bioAffinity Technologies, Inc. is a pre-revenue biotechnology company with exciting opportunities to work in molecular diagnostics.  We are looking for an individual interested in applying their research skills to develop assays that detect cancer at the earliest stages via flow cytometry.  The applicant must be able to work as part of a team comprised of cell and molecular biologists, as well as work independently on well-defined projects that require excellent understanding of cancer cell biology and flow cytometry.

Success in this position will require:

  • Proficiency in multiparameter flow cytometry

  • Critically analyze and troubleshoot scientific problems
  • Excellent record keeping
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A willingness to learn and adopt new experimental skills

Preferred Skills:

  • BSL-2 level experience with biological sample preparation
  • Sterile tissue culture techniques
  • Immunohistochemistry
  • Ability to design, analyze, document and present data 
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and balance multiple projects
  • Experience working in a regulated environment or familiar with GLP/GMP and FDA guidelines

Minimum Qualifications:

  • PhD in Immunology, Cell, or Molecular Biology or equivalent is preferred. MS is acceptable in combination with work history that demonstrates the candidate possesses the targeted expert knowledge and skills
  • Experience in multiparameter flow cytometry
  • Proficient in a broad range of cell and molecular biology techniques
  • Research experience in cancer biology
  • Must be knowledgeable of computer software to support data analysis tasks (e.g., FlowJo, FACSDiva and/or Kaluza for flow cytometry, GraphPad/Prism, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must have excellent hands-on laboratory skills
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and summarize scientific results in a clear, concise, & accurate manner
