Project Manager

Piper Companies is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager based in Summit, New Jersey for work at a leading pharmaceutical company. The Senior Project Manager will collaborate with CMC project leads and functional PMs on a variety of Cell Therapy Development and Operations (CTDO) product programs.  

Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:   

• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables  
• Communicate project status to PMO, project, and CTDO leadership 
• Implement appropriate change controls 
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders  
• Create project plans to streamline scope, work, resources, scheduling, etc 

 Qualifications of the Senior Project Manager:   

• 7+ years project management for pharmaceuticals or biotechnology 
• Experience with MS Project, Smartsheet, OnePager, SharePoint 
• Project management professional (PMP) or equivalent achieved/in progress 
• Understanding of all stages of drug development, cell therapy experience a plus  
• Bachelors degree in life sciences discipline, advanced degree preferred 

Compensation for the Senior Project Manager:   

• $58/hr
