We are seeking a Senior Manager, Product Management-HR Systems is responsible for providing direction in functional and technical capability while leading and delivering against the HR technology roadmap.  You will partner with the business stakeholders to develop effective and sustainable business process solutions.  You have expertise in implementing and continually enhancing large-scale systems with full knowledge and experience of methodologies used to deliver IT systems.

In this role, a typical day might include: 

  • Provide technical leadership in the assessment and delivery of technology solutions to support HR business process
  • Lead Workday COE demand management process working closely with G&A IT Leadership to understand priorities and meet deadlines and goals.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and improvement to optimize, innovate and reduce technical debt in the delivery of HR demand requests
  • Support G&A IT leadership to identify gaps in existing processes, resolve disposition (major project, small project, enhancement) and provide recommendations for future process & technology improvements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners and internal IT teams
  • Develop and continually strengthen deep knowledge of HR and service application technologies and business processes for assigned areas.
  • For major HR strategy projects, act as the technical workstream lead to ensure plans that support key process areas meet business requirements now and for the future
  • Oversee all aspects of the SDLC to ensure smoothly system delivery that meets/exceeds the needs of the business
  • Communicate effectively at all levels which includes escalation to IT leadership when necessary
  • Ensure proper requirements are gathered, documented and clearly state the needs of the business
  • Translate requirements and processes into realistic, innovative business and system design solutions
  • Ensure designs are well documented and socialized with technical teams to achieve alignment on approach and future strategy
  • Work closely with all technical teams involved and close gaps quickly to speed up the system development process.
  • Serve as the conduit between the business functional owner community and internal IT and/or software development team(s) through which requirements flow and are designed, built and tested.
  • Manage staff of external consultants in addition to vendor management
  • Continually attend training, conferences, etc. to stay abreast of new technologies and innovative HR industry standard practices

To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of proven HR experience working as a technical systems lead for major projects, small projects and enhancements. 10+ years of extensive experience with core HR processes and supporting technology platforms. Strong hands on technical foundation experience with HR Systems (i.e. Oracle HR). Technical expertise with application development to assist with the design and specification development desired. SAAS implementation experience required (Workday, ServiceNow, etc.). Strong vendor management skills and experience. Ability to analyze and document complex business processes. Ability to think analytically and proactively solve problems
