Imagine… 2 weeks after the birth of your child you realize they aren't meeting critical developmental milestones and after months of doctor's appointments you are told your baby has a rare neurological disease that would impact how they would live their lives.

This is the reality of parents whose children have Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and it's the reason why we at Novartis Gene Therapy are laser focused on bringing hope and possibility to those devastated by rare genetic diseases.

We use cutting-edge technology to turn promising gene therapies into proven treatments. Imagine the lives you could transform by joining the Novartis Gene Therapy team.

The objective of this internship is to map out an Omni-Channel content strategy for HCP's involved in SMA diagnosis, referral & treatment.  To date, HCP engagement has primarily focused on treaters of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).  However, there are a number of HCP and non-HCP stakeholders engaged throughout the patient journey from diagnosis to treatment. These include SMA ‘suspectors, referrers and diagnosers'.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and map current and desired attitudes, beliefs and behaviors for each HCP segment. Leverage existing Global and EMEA segmentation
  • Understand and map each segments' stage on the belief / behavior model (adoption ladder)
  • Understand and recommend preferred messages and channels for each customer segment mapped back to the belief / behavior model.
  • Deliver an Omni-Channel roadmap bringing together the message purpose, preferred channels and associated content that advances customers along the belief / behavior model (adoption ladder)

Qualifications

  • Completed at least two years of college education before beginning the internship.
  • Must be enrolled in school the semester following the internship.
  • Curious and agile learner, who is able to make the complex simple
  • Able to work cross-functionally and across cultures and time zones
  • Able to think strategically and translate strategy into action
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Possesses digital & commercial acumen
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

The level of this position will be based on the final candidate's qualifications.
