The Opportunity
insitro is seeking an Executive Assistant for our R&D executives and leaders. You will partner closely with members of the C-Suite, the leadership team, and scientists and engineers from across the R&D organization to support insitro’s mission of transforming the way that drugs are discovered and delivered to patients.

We are looking for a high-performing and experienced Executive Assistant with exceptional interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, who excels in balancing thoughtful problem solving and judgment with time-sensitive execution. The ideal candidate enjoys working cross-functionally and effectively communicates across levels and disciplines, demonstrating top-notch multitasking and prioritization capabilities.

You will be joining a world-class R&D organization in a start-up environment that has long-term stability due to significant funding. The ongoing growth of the R&D team provides many opportunities for significant impact, and candidates who have a passion for working in science and technology will gain unique insights into the way machine learning and biology at scale come together to enable the discovery of novel drugs for some of the world’s most serious diseases. 

- Collaborate with all levels of the organization, from C-level executives and stakeholders to internal teams and external partners.
- Manage extensive calendaring and balancing of conflicting priorities, while skillfully prioritizing daily tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Be a team player supporting cross-disciplinary execution Manage special projects and assignments as needed.
- Arrange domestic/international travel, prepare expense reports, assist with credit card reconciliations, coordinate team meetings, events and off-sites.
- Provide back up to other EAs as needed.


About You
- 5+ years experience in executive supportExcellent project management, prioritization, and organizational skills to meet deadlines with efficiency and accuracy.
- Proficiency in commonly used software and technologies, such as video conferencing, collaboration tools, and editing presentation slides.
- Ability to quickly learn and implement new procedures, software, and technologies.
- Polished and collaborative demeanor, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated track record of continuous improvement and impact on operational processes
- Self-motivated, proactive with demonstrated ability to take initiative and solve problems
- Growth mindset with interest to learn new things and ability to adapt to changes in a rapidly scaling organization
- Good judgment and adept at handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Passion for making a difference in the world

- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Meet, etc.)
